I have a Master’s degree from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (DAMU) and for more than 20 years I had been a member of the Theatre na Vinohradech in Prague, one of the most famous Czech theatres. Freelance artist since 2024. I have been cooperating with several theatres throughout my career and I have been in more than 70 productions of classical and modern repertoire including several musicals (e.g. Amadeus in Peter Shaffer’s “Amadeus”, Cyrano in “Cyrano de Bergerac” by Edmond Rostand, Brutus in Shakespeare’ s “Caesar”, Bishop Vergérus in “Fanny and Alexander” by Ingmar Bergman). For the portrayal of Edward Kynaston in “Compleat Female Stage Beauty” by Jeffrey Hatcher I received the Thalia Award for the best male performance in drama (Czech equivalent to Reumert awards) in 2018.
In November 2025 I played Greg in the Danish premiere of Joe Penhall’s “Dumb Show” in Kruddtønden with That Theatre Company.
I appeared in several TV shows, TV movies and films in Czechia. I often lend my voice to audiobook recordings, voiceovers and radio work.
I have also collaborated with classical music orchestras on music-dramatic performances (Prague Symphony Orchestra, Bennewitz Quartet).
The upcoming melodrama will be at the Janacek Festival:
